St. Maries Musica auditions for 2023 fall season will be held August 28, 2023. If needed, another date will be announced. Auditions will be held at First Saints Christian Church, 25550 Point Lookout Road, Leonardtown, MD, 20650 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Please complete the Musica Audition form below. Any singer who was a member of Musica in spring 2023 does not need to audition. Former Musica members who were not a member for the 2023 spring season are asked to audition. Since we have a new director, Dr. Alvey would like to hear your audition.

Audition includes:
Candidates are asked to come ready to sing one prepared song of their choice. An accompanist will be available to play for you.
The audition will also include a vocalization section where the director will lead the singer in warm-ups to listen to his/her vocal range.
The director will also conduct a pitch matching exercise.
The singer will participate in a sight-reading exercise with the members of the audition committee.
